He took the boys and me out for a little photo shoot yesterday afternoon. I know I'm married to him, and, therefore, a little biased, but he really is AWESOME at what he does.
I couldn't post a picture here today. Not only do I not have anything new photos, even if I did, there's no way they would measure up to what you'll find here. Really, go look at the gallery.
Sometimes I wish we were made of money and could afford the time for him to take all my photos! Of course, then I wouldn't have to learn how to take better pictures. And that is something every artist should be able to do...
Other photo things in the works: We are both planning to participate in Through a Plastic Lens, a group show at the Imago for First Friday in November. I borrowed Hubby's Holga to shoot my pics for the show, and I've really enjoyed getting back to film for a bit.
I'm also considering something akin to this. I don't know that I would make it into a scrapbook, but I would definitely post about it on my blog. I think doing something like this would get me in the habit of carrying my camera. It would make it more a part of my life, and I do think that would be a good thing.
After the photo shoot yesterday, we had a repeat of this picnic. It was just as beautiful outside as it was earlier this year, but we didn't see a single moving train the whole time! We even had dinner from the same BBQ place, and they have awesome artisan whole wheat buns now! And yet I didn't get a single shot to share with you; I forgot my camera.
I think I might need a new habit, huh?
