What can brown do for you?

Out of the blue the other day the toddler offers up "Big brown truck have box inside". I think for a minute and then say that yes, the big brown truck does have boxes in it. Our friendly UPS guy comes here several times a week with deliveries for hubby's business. Turns out that the toddler has even come to associate brown trucks with packages. I guess brown really is working out okay for UPS.

Now if you ask the little guy what's in the brown truck he says, without fail, "Big brown truck have box in it".

We have to contract for our own trash pick-up where we live. There are two companies we can choose from. Our trash is picked up by the green trucks on Thursdays, but our next door neighbor uses the other company. This resulted in him saying, "White trash truck come take Miss Janet's trash".

He's really become quite descriptive; we can't talk about things anymore without him telling us what color they are. One day I even heard, "Big yellow excavator have yellow digger on it". And I've also heard all about the blue tractor with the red hay baler baling hay.

Now, if I could just get the UPS guy to deliver packages for me instead of the business... ;)

He is always thinking! With all of this interest in construction vehicles maybe he will be an engineer!
