On the go!

Wouldn't you know it? As soon as I decide I'm going to finally take pictures in the little guys room to share, we get a forecast for three days of clouds! As soon as there's descent natural light, I'll get photos up of the curtains and crib skirt.

The photo up there was taken a while back, but it captures the toddler's activity level these days perfectly. We gave up on containing him in a high chair or booster with a seat belt almost a month ago. He stands on the bench to eat, and this is an improvement from the meals where he would get a bite, run to the other end of the bench, chew, and run back to get another bite. He just doesn't slow down for anything. I can still take him to the park and have the only kid who isn't entertained by the playground equipment, but instead has to explore every square mile of the whole place!

I doubt that I'll get anything else finished for his room; I'm not on the go these days. At somewhere between 34 and 36 weeks along (depending on who you ask...), I am dilated 3 cm. The doctor wants us to make it for another two weeks, so I've been ordered to take it easy. I am horrible at this! I feel fine, I have stuff I want to do, and it's just not in the fiber of my being to sit and do nothing. It seems like this little one is on the go, whether it's what the doc wants or not...
