It's the little things...

I took a short break from working on the Hoover Blanket (At 230 stitches per row a break is necessary sometimes!) to knit this tiny little hat for this little guy:

My nephew was born on Tuesday, but we couldn't go meet him until yesterday. The toddler has some awful stomach/intestinal virus that I'm quite certain will never end, so we had to wait until Grandma could come and watch him for a bit.

We've had three days of barfing and diarrhea from the munchkin. Hubby and I are thankful that neither one of us has any symptoms yet, but I'm not naive enough to think we're out of the woods yet. So the meeting of the cousins will have to wait until our little guy can keep food down for more than a few hours at a time. It's been a strange virus that seems to come in waves and involve no fever.

I've been up to my ears in laundry for three days. I've washed everything off the crib at least four times. I'm happy that I'm able to get it all done and back on the crib before we need it again, but the adults at our house are starting to run out of clean clothes. And I'm afraid to tie the washer up with our laundry.

I'm certain that he'll get well sometime. He's still eating and drinking, so I'm not even worried about him getting dehydrated. Hope all the little things in your life are as cute as ours and a lot less messy.
