Someone at our house has a new favorite word. Yep, it's no. I'll tell you that it's not me (I'm so SICK of saying "NO!") or hubby. And we have not taught the dog to talk. You guessed it: the toddler.
He's not to the point of saying it to questions yet. He simply runs around the house randomly saying "no" over and over again. It's really quite adorable right now, but I'm bracing myself for the onslaught of negativity that goes along with almost two. It's coming...
While we're on the topic of "no". Sorry, but, no, I cannot share with you much of what I've been working on lately. It's all top secret stuff for swaps, baby showers, and other gifts.
I can tell you that one of the showers is on Saturday, so I'll post pics of the handmade gifts for that one late this weekend. I can also tell you that I'm working on a pattern for a bag right now that I'm really excited about. I finished the first one last night, and I can't wait to make a second one to try some new ideas and improvements. Both of those bags have homes though, and I'm going to have to have one for me too. There will definitely be a third.
I also have another pattern up my sleeve for something small and sometimes edible. I'll leave it at that.
The log cabin baby blanket is coming along. It's getting too big to take to church on Sunday mornings; it no longer fits in my sizable purse. I hope to finish it this weekend.
And finally, I've cast on for a baby kimono ala Mason Dixon. I'm using the Peaches 'n Cream my last secret pal, Tori, sent to me.
