What is it with rabbits? Even the stuffed ones multiply "like bunnies". I started out planning to make two of these guys. Two became five, became seven... And now there are eight of them.
They aren't quite finished yet; they each need to have the hole in their hind end stitched closed and a face embroidered on. I used the Wee Bunny pattern at Wee Wonderfuls. It was pretty easy and very quick. The only place I had a bit of trouble was putting the circle bottoms on them, but I got better at it.
I opted out of weighted stuffing at the bottom. Most of these guys are going to go live with tiny (some unborn) friends; I wanted to avoid any possible choking hazards. I used a poly-fiberfill stuffing. I really wanted to use a cotton or wool. Does anyone know of a good place to get a natural fiberfill?
The fronts are all from tea dyed flannel I had left over from my mom's quilt. The backs are mostly hand-dyed stuff I had in my stash. I also used a couple of prints I'd picked up at Harper's and one from JoAnn's.
They are currently hanging out leaning on my Mexican sugar mold candle holder. And none of them have been in the dog food bin. Although, the current count of items in the bin that don't belong there is eight.

They sure did multiply fast! They were only 5 just yesterday.
