Fetch

Fetch is a popular game at our house. It has been for a LONG time. There are certain toys that the dog will chase until she's just too tired to walk anymore. She'll even play fetch with snowballs. It's especially fun when she finds the snowball and tries to bring it back. After a second she drops it; it's just too cold to keep it in her mouth.
She has recently started playing fetch with the toddler. No, I don't mean chasing him and retrieving him for me. Wouldn't that be nice? I mean chasing a ball when he throws it for her. He squeals with delight when she gets the toy he threw, and if she's not fast enough he'll go and get it and try again.
My sister-in-law stopped by last night to hang out with the baby monitor while I went to my knitting group. She brought her fetching with her and I was able to get some photos to share with you.
These were knit with one skien of Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in cranberry on size 6 needles.
I think she likes them...
