Winter Wonderland

This is what we saw out the back windows for most of the days today. We ended up with between 2 and 3 inches of snow at our house, and it was the first snowfall of the season. Given the weather forecast, it might even be with us for a while. And we might even get more.

I know for you guys up north that 2 or 3 inches isn't much, but it was enough for us to get the toddler out in the snow to play some late this afternoon. And we realized that Robeez shoes aren't enough foot protection for the little guy in snow. So, we'll be buying him his first pair of winter boots soon!

While it was snowing away outside and the toddler was napping upstairs, I headed down to my studio. And I finished the curtains! (This means I can officially start working on Christmas projects! YEAH!!!) Both 7 foot by 10 foot panels are complete. One of them is already hanging in hubby's office. The second one will probably make it there tomorrow, and he's promised pictures. The snow and a client emergency south of town kept him away from his office today.

Well, all that and a trip to the doctor for our 20 week ultrasound. We were told today that our newest little one looks perfect. It was wonderful to here that all is well, and we are so VERY thankful that the next kiddo looks healthy! The toddler was sure to tell both the tech and our doctor that he's decided we'll have a "gur". He always gives us the same answer when we ask him whether we should have a baby boy or girl. I think it's simply because we tell the dog she's a "good girl". Maybe he thinks girl means doggie, and he's decided we should have a puppy not a boy. At 16 months old, anything is possible, right?

Hope your winter wonderland is a pretty as ours. If it's gonna be this cold, it might as well snow!
