Sweet Goodness

My first and second packages for the Sweet Goodness Holiday Swap finally arrived. It's been taking the boxes to and from Canada 3 or even 4 weeks to get to their destinations! Couple that with a mistake in my address and Diana, my swap sister, had a hard time getting things to me. But it's finally here, and I'm thrilled with all the awesome stuff she sent!

The photo above shows almost everything from the October package. Diana included an awesome bucket she hand painted (below). In it was dark chocolate (YUM!), some candles, a super cute hand painted tee for the little one, paper plates, a quilted hot pad in harvest fabric, post-it notes, ribbon, and some adorable fall and Halloween fabrics.

The November Tags and Swags part of the swap was in the box too:

These are the gifts tags Diana made for me. And they matched the candy cane stripe paper I painted for this year perfectly; so, they're gone. They were SO cute, and I really enjoyed getting to use them.

Diana also sent us a really neat paper garland that says "PEACE". You can see pictures of it here on her blog. I haven't gotten it hung at our house yet, but I'm hunting for the perfect spot. I'll find it soon!

I sent Diana a stocking advent garland. I'm planning on making one for us for next year soon. I've been collecting and felting sweaters to use for it.

And I sent her some layered gift tags that were painted with silver swirls and stamped with blue snowflakes.

Looks like a wonderful batch of fun creative stuff. You're right the tags do match your paper!
