I'm well on my way toward officially starting on the Christmas baking, sewing and knitting. I just have one more huge project to finish up. And I'm hard at work on a pair of natural muslin curtains for hubby's office. Each panel is 7 feet by 10 feet. I've put in two 120 inch seems and four 120 inch folded hems. I've even added 18 button holes; I only have 18 more to go. I'm very close to being finished. An I'm very glad that my Bernina has a button hole feature.
I really don't mind making the curtains. They just need to be done at the wrong time. I'm SO excited about the projects I have planned for Christmas that I can't wait to get started on them. And I wish I could tell you about them. There's something for my sister-in-law. And something for Linda, but she's not surprised by this; we have an exchange. I'm patiently waiting to find out what she's whipping up for me. (I'm as excited about that as I am all the stuff I have to make!)
Then there's the quilt I'm going to make for my mom (She doesn't read my blog, so I can tell you about it. It will be corduroy on one side and tea dyed flannel on the other. And since it needs to get mailed out of town, it will be the next sewing project. I promise pictures to come.
There's more, but I can't tell you about it. Some of it is also FINISHED!
Yup, you've seen that picture before. It's a photo of my stash from a while back. Some of the yarn visible in that photo is being knit into a Christmas surprise for one of you. Just to keep you guessing and on your toes.
