Our little monster

I figured you guys'd want to see the toddler in his Halloween costume that I made. I dare you to ask him what a monster says. He's so cute when he smiles and says, "RAWR!"
I'm very proud of myself for this one, but I must also give credit where it is due. I used two patterns from Bend the Rules Sewing by Amy Karol, aka the Angry Chicken. His hat is the Woodland Elf Hat with eyes and teeth added and the jacket is the Sweet Wee Jacket with a button closure. I created a pants pattern from a pair he has that fit well, and the tail was straight out of my head at Hubby's suggestion.
And the best part? The pants and jacket can be worn tail free and hat/teeth free as a warm, comfy, fleecy outfit all winter!
