The big news

I know it's not the best picture, but I really wanted to show you this. Yep, he pushed the stool over and climbed up to "help" me all by himself! But that's not the big news...

The almost toddler is going to be a big brother! We're thrilled to be having our next little one sometime next April.

This probably helps explain why I'm not getting much done and why I'm SOOOOOOO tired all the time. I'm not feeling too terrific these days either. I didn't start feeling better until week 16 or 17 with the first one, so I figure I have another month or so of it, but it's a small price to pay for such a precious little being.

We do things the old fashioned, all natural way at our house. We'll have a hospital birth, but it will be drug free if all goes according to plan. And we won't find out the gender of this little one until he/she is born. So, hopefully there won't be much to tell you as we go along. But I'll keep you posted.

The toddler was a fast birth (only 2 hours at the hospital before he arrived!), so we've already joked with our OB/GYN about her meeting us on the side of the highway to deliver the baby!

Despite the exhaustion and nausea, I'm motivated to get the knitting done I've started. I can't wait to knit some things for this new little one. I'm just itching to cast on for a Mason-Dixon Baby Kimono in the Peaches & Cream my awesome secret pal sent me.

It's still raining here. I promise to take and post some progress photos soon. Really, I will, just as soon as I can take stuff outside to get good, dry natural light.

Congratulations!

And look at your little sweet pea growing up there! Jack drags his stool everywhere these days. :-)
