So it didn't occur to me that I needed to tell ya'll that the photo I posted yesterday is not the photo that will be in the calendar. It's that sweater, but another, totally different photo. That's part of the big secret. You'll have to wait for the calendar to see the actual photo.
I goofed. Sorry.
But I do love that photo. And it was all hubby's idea. We'd already shot and decided on several photos when he decided at the last minute that we should try tossing the sweater up in the air. I love how the pictures turned out. Hubby did a great job taking shoots of a constantly moving subject. I'm not surprised. It is his job, and he's really good at it.
Don't worry, the calendar photo, while not a thrown in the air shot, is still fabulous. You'll just have to wait to see it.
And one more thing: Linda asked about the Peaches & Cream yarn in comparison to the Sugar n Cream as far as softness goes. I do believe that it is softer. I have not knit with the Peaches yet, and I did not compare the two side by side. From what I feel, it is softer and feels as though it just might have a bit more give, not enough to call it stretch, but give. That might make it easier to work with for those of you like Linda who've sworn off dishcloth cotton knitting. I'll let you know what I think when I actually knit with it, but for the time being, I'd say to give it a try. I've got four things (eeks! So much for the one thing at a time rule...) on the needles right now, so it might be a bit yet.
