School has officially started. I have had two days of classes. I am trying to be short, sweet and too the point when it comes to going over procedures. You can always tell when your classroom full of first graders is getting bored with directions; they get squirmy and start talking!
I too wish that my students could be short, sweet and too the point. However, it is somewhat endearing when they spend five minutes telling you that they need to go to the bathroom.
Yesterday I heard ALL about the trip to California one of my third graders took this summer with his family. He was certain to tell me that they "drived" to CA.
This is the first entry I am posting from my desk in my classroom. I'm going to keep this short and sweet as I have to go hang out in a gym full of kiddos for bus duty.
